Second Edition Business Notes.
It ia no longer necessary for the housewife to experiment with various brands of marking ink. In past years many inferior brands only have been obtainable in New Zealand. Strange though it may seem it is only quite recently that the celebrated John Bond Crystal Palace marking ink has been put on the market in this country, although it has enjoyed very large sales in almost egery other part of the globe. This marking ink requires no heating or preparation, and is warranted to fulfil every requirement. It is claimed for it that it goes straight into the wash without heat, and becomes more intense by repeated washing and boiling. In a change -advertisement on page 2 of feo-daVs Chronicle, Mr Ken Aitke-n, bookseller and stationer, advises that 'John Bond's "Marking Ink" is for sale at his establishment only, and is obtainable in (id and Is bottles. A linen stretcher for marking linen is given gratis with each bottle.
Blankets for Takapau military camp are on offer by Messrs Millar and Giorgi, outfitters, Palmerston North, whose advertisement appears on page 2.
