-Messrs Abraham and Williams, report: We held our monthly sale at Shannon on l'riday, and yarded good entries of both sheep and cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers, and we liavo iti report a most satisfactory sale. All classes of sheep were in keen demand, and so also, were fat cattle. * Prices realised were as under
Sheep.—Fat and forward 2toofh wethers, 18s 7d; a.m. ewes in lamb, 12s fid: best lambs, Us Til, 12s: empty ewes, I.ls 8d: small lambs, 5s 2d, 7s Bd, 8s to 9s.
Cattle.- -Weaner heifers, 26s to £2: mixed weaners, 27s to 335: l~>-month heifers, £2 Gs: 3-ycar steers, £6; 2-year steers, £4 3s: fat cows, £G 2s, £6 3s; fat heifers £0 Ids: heifers, close to calving , , t'7 7s 8d; store cows, £2 to £3 3s; Lulls, £5 2a 6d, £6 17sGd ; porkers :50s, 355, £2.
