Poultry- We had a very large entry for both sales before Easter, but prices realised were only fair, especially for medium quality, of which the entry was largely composed. Fairly large shipments of dessert and cooking , apples have arrived during the week, and as the market has been fully supplied prices have been lower. Quinces are offering , freely, and values are at bedrock. Winter cole and other choice dessert pears are selling at satisfactory prices. To-day sales show a slight increase in price of choice tomatoes. Lettuce and beans realise bedrock prices. All root vegetables meet with ready sale.
