in;V Farm, ;he Uev. A. (.'. llan<Wsom, M.A., performing the"~i ceremony. The church was prettily decorated for the wedding (which was a choral one) with Michaelmas daisies and asparagus fern. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful gown of ivory satin charmeus(\ with fish-tail' train, the skirt being artistically draped witli uiiion and embroidered, with seed pearls, and the bodice being composed of Limerick lace over fleshcoloured chiffon. She- wore, the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white roses and asparagus fern. Tho bridesmaids were Miss Fogelberg, of Wellington, and Miss Reniing- . ton, of Levin. The former wore a dress of brocaded satin, with lace tunic edged with fur, and Miss Remington one of cream broche silk, with tunic of laco and girdle of pale pink. Both had black hats, relieved by a touch of pink, and carried pink bouquets. The bridegroom was attended by Mr S. 0. -Gaseoigne as best man, and Mr Arthur Pringle as groomsman. The bride'i mother wore a dress of grey satin with Bulgarian trimming, and a black panne velvet hat, with cream plumes. As the wedding party left the church, the boys of the Weraroa Training Farm pipe band formed a guard of honour. Afterwards a reception was held -at the residence of tho, bride's parents, Beach road. The usual toasts were honoured, and some happy speeches made. The visiting guests were Mrs P. Gaines, of Christchurch, Mrs W. H. Wilson,

of Eketahuna, Hiss V. Fogelberg, of Wellington, Mr and Mrs F. Davies and Mrs J. Davies, of Koputaroa, Mrs A. C. Randerson, Miss Pringle, of the Hutt, Mr John Pringle-, . of Palmerston North, Major G. M. Hurl in son and others. Later Mr and Mrs Eggleton left for Wellington, whence Ihey will proceed to Auckland and Rotorua. The bride's travelling eoStume was a saxe blue cloth, tailor-made; with this was worn a white felt hat,, trimmed Avith blue ostrich feathers. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold wristlet watch, and to the bridesmaids gold brooches. Many beautiful presents were received.
