Messrs Dalgety ami Company, Limited, report having , held their Levin sale on Wednesday, Bth instant, when they ottered an exceptionally heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle-. A special entry of 1200 ewes, on account of Mr -1. I{. McDonald, came forward in first-class order and condition. The ewes were carefully drafted for age, and competition under the hammer for each line ott'eml was exceptionally keen.
