CHE N.Z. FARMERS' CO-OP-ERATIVE DISTIIJBDTNG | CO., LTD. WEEKLY REPORT. Wellington, April 2. Potatoes.—There is practically no change to report, and prime lines still find a ready sale. Onions are coming to hand in fair ■quantities, but tho market is inclined to be weak. Eggs (fresh) are very scarce, and prices are firm. Dressed pork continues in good demand. Wheat and oats. —Both lines continue firm at late rates, and the Southern quotations have a rising tendency. Prime Algerians are distinctly firmer, and not many lines of this quality are obtainable. There is no change in the cocksfoot market which remains very firm at late rates. A considerable quantity of chaff has arrived in fulfilment of past orders, and business meantime is somewhat restricted. Fairly large shipments of dessert and cooking apples are arriving from Motueka, and the market has a slackening tendency. Quinces are in fair demand at satisfactory rates.
