Snowflake Fair

"The Snowflake Fair" will be held in the Century Hall, Levin, next "Wednesday and Thursday. Amongst the numerous attractions of the fair there will be the Children's Stall of the Uills' Guild. The guild, under Mrs Porteous, has been busy all the year making preparation for this event. The stall will be' replete with dolls' clothes and pretty articles such as children love, with a bran tub to provide surprise effects. A splendid show of farm and garden produce will lie made at the fair; also honey and home-made preserve*, which with fruit and vegetables form a never-failing attraction for housewives.
