Tubers of prime quality are in good demand, and are eagerly bought up at satisfactory rates. Onions—There ia no change on the local market, but the southern reports indicate lower values. The wheat market is unaltered, and there is not a great deal of business passing. Oats are in much tlie same position, and holders in the south are not inclined to accept lower prices. Seed algerians are, if anything, a little firmer. Local grapes are in short supply, and higher prices are ruling for good quality. Blackberries, quinces and peaches meet with a fair deinand.
