At tiie conclusion of the tournament Mr Farghcr, on behalf of thu Shannon bowlers, Ihnnkcd the visitors for their attendance. He thanked them the more because, they had come in such rainy weather. The club had prepared the gredn as well as they could, and he thought all present had an enjoyable day. He declared Messrs Pickering and "Whitehead winners of flip trophies, and called for cheers for the visitors Avhieh were heartily given. Mr Pickering acknowledged the compliment and on behalf of the visitors thanked ihe Shannon club for their nearly reception. The visitors gave cheers for iho. Shannon club and its officers and al-n for tlie ladies. The Club provided afternoon toa "which was dispensed by Mrs Farther, Mrs Bromley and Miss TTughea.
