The Minister proposes further, to clear and plant dt with fruit trees and then sell it. Wliich ever system pays best will be pursued. An area of 2319 - acres has been selected, and will be divided into .43 lots, the smallest being acres and the largest 108 acres. TJder the Act the Minister has power to set aside six ready-made farms for those coining over the sea. After di.vision the land will be submitted •by auction, and the purchasers will be assisted to erect homes by loans from the Government departmental bank.
