WEEKLY ItEPOIIT. Wellington, March . 0. As predicted in our last report, lower values are prevailing foi potatoes, large consignments having come forward from Blenheim, lllitt' and the North. We do not anticipate any advance in price as the reports from the South indicate that the main crop will be a heavy one. Onions only of in ferior qualify have so far come fo hand, and consequently prices have been low. Eggs are firm, and higher rates may be expected in view of Easter requirements. Dressed pork is in good demand. We have inquiries for new season's honey, and consignments of choice lines are requested. Wheat is steady, and fair sales are reported. Threshing of oats is in full swing in the south, but it is not anticipated that there will be any great alteration in values. We recommend consignments olr fungus. Large quantities of chaff are offering from the Wairarapa, and fairly large parcels have been disposed of. Grapes and blackberries meet witK ready sale. Peaches (arriving from Motueka and Hawke's Bay are realising good prices where tlie qualify is right. Choice lines of plums are selling well. Large consignments of tomatoes are arriving from the Hutt, and prices are at bedrock. Apples are arriving freely, and realise fair prices. Green peas are eagerly bought up at full rates.
