A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Anglican Church 011 Wednesday by the liev. Mr Petrie. The contracting parties were Miss I. M. Edhouse 'and Mr Bernard Audrey Baigent, oi Wellington. The bride, who was handsomely dressed was attended by four bridesmaids, viz., Miss Armstrong, Miss Cottle, Miss Bcvan and Miss Emily Edhouse. Mr Eitch was best man and Mr Edhouse, father of the bride, gave her away. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was given in tiie Town Hall and nunieious toasts, wishing Mr and -Mrs Baigent every happiness and pmsperity, were honoured. Mr and Mrs Baigent left in tho evening for a short honeymoon in "Wanganui. The bridegroom's presents to the bride and bridesmaids were handsome gold bangle,;. The wedding presents wero numerous and costly. Miss Frazer is leaving for Kapfilll on Thursday to be present at her brother's wedding.
