KING'S THEATRE
The full programme of pictures to be shown in the King's Theatre this evening (Monday) is advertised on page lof this issue. The "star" film is entitled "The Human Target." This describes pictorially how Walter, the expert, rifle shot, whose "turn)) includes such remarkable feats of markmanship as the shooting of a flower out of the mouth of his girl assistant, and the piercing of an article on her head, devises a new trick. A loaded cannon is irained on the assistant, who is bound to a post. TRe fuse is lighted, and Walter, with a shot from his rifle, tries to cut it before it can reach the touch-hole. A quarrel between the marksman and his assistant, leads to the girl's father tampering with Walter's weapon, which misses fire, until the flames are within an inch of the powder. But his Inst shot is successful" when the flames have almost reached the powder. The King's Theatre proprietary announces that prices of admission are
adults ls, children under 12 years 6d.
