KING'S THEATRE. The programme of pictures to be shown in the King's Then tie this evening (Saturday) will be found advertised on page 1 of this issue. There are two "star" films entitled "Shylock," 2500 feet, and "Will Evans Harnesses a Horse/' 200 feet. Prices are (Id and Is this evening. On and after Monday next, March 2nd, prices of admission will be Is to any part of the hall. Children under 12 years 6d. Afternoon prices will be as before (>ld and fid) The management announces that at these charges Levin rettfTns its record for the lowest prices along the Manawatu line; prices of admission in both the other towns being Is and Is 6d. The cause of the rise in prices was set out in The Chronicle a day or two ago— the film combine is squeezing extramoney out of the display companies.
