For close upon thirteen yflwrg Mr \Y. C. Nation has acted as Registrar of Births, Marriagfefs,! and deaths formerly of Shannon and of later years at Levin. The Government having decided that postmasters in country districts shall act as registrars from Ist March current, the public will take notice, that all business will now be conducted by them. Although Mr Nation's duties as regis! tar has terminated he still holds an appointment under the Marriage Act to celebrate marriages.
