Meagher declined the escort, and Alderman Milner tolc the orderly to call assistance, bul before he arrived Meagher left the building. STKIKE GOES ON. A mass meeting of strikers unanimously decided to reject tin employers proposals made througl the Minister of Labour. explained that they would hav< been prepared to favourably con sider the resumption of work or their own terms leaving the sub sequent decision to the court. Tin strike therefore goes on.
