CLEARING SALE ON ACCOUNT OE H. J. RICHARDS

Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held a mast successful clearing sale of dairy cows at Levin on account of Mr li. J. Richards, on Wednesday, 4th instant. A large number of buyers attended and bidding all through was spirited. Ihe herd of cows offered was a really good one, and the vendor was able to give full particulars with regard to test, etc., so buyers were able to compete for the different lots offered with confidence. For cows just calved and close to calving there was keen competition, the highest price being £12 10s. Other sales were as follows: ±'11, 2 at £10 10s, 2 ar £10 2s Gd, I at £10. 2at £0 ss, £0, £8 10s, ! t'«S, £fi 12s 6d, £6. ! One spring cart gelding brought j £10, while another brought £12 I 15s. | A number of farm implements i and sundries were offered and brought full market value.
