An Efficient Fertlizer

Basic slag is now generally recognised as a leading manure. But success varies with this fertiliser according to the brand employed. Capital results are reported' from different parts of the Dominion from the use of Bilston's Basic Phosphate. It ia claimed for th i s brand that it contains more phosphate of lime than any other, and is more finely ground. It is also said to be quicker in action, and more readily assimilated by the acids of the soil. It is now regularly sold by storekeepers and manure dealers. The sole importers are Messrs A. S. Patterson and Co., Ltd., fhe well-known merchants of Welling-too.
