Two rinks of Foxtou players will be in Levin to-morrow ( Wednesday) afternoon, to play against the. local bowlers. A team for Palmerston .North also will be down on the same .ifternoon to play the Levin holders of the Toms l (, erns for possession of these trophies. The programme of pictures to be shown in the King's Theatre on Wednesday evening is advertised on page lof this issue. The star film is I>OUU feet in length, and is a comedy entitled "A Night Out." There are several drama - fie. pictures to be shown, besides comic and scenic films. The Australian bowlers will be. at Palmersfon North od Wednesday of this week, iiaft a civic reception will be given them. Play will take place on the Taonui street green, which is :i fullsized ground. The games will be of 2> r ) heads (the Australian total) instead of 21 heads, as played in New Zealand.
