» The eighth auiiual show was lield to-day 011 the racecourse in splendid weather, the day being ideal for a sliow. There are large entries and all the exhibits are m lirst-class order and bear evidence of having been carefully attended to and got up for the show. A large number of people are in attendance and the various side shows are doing good business. Following are some of the awards : Best Girl Rider, 15 years and under. Horses ii.o iianus and under. First prize £1 10s, second 15s —Miss Beryl Tulley 1, Miss Phyllis Higgins 2, Mies Elsie Broadbelt -'j. Four entries. Best Girl Rider, 12 years and under. Ponies 12 hands and under. First £1 10s, second 10s.— Miss Thelma Higgins 1, Miss Jean Gray 2, Miss Flora Broadbelt '6. Pair Draught Horses, with or without harness. First prize £2, second £1 LOs.—P rouse Bros. "Dolly" "and "Jack," 1; Jas. Ivenrich's ''Lady Moore" and "Lady Benmore, 2. Two entries. Mare or Gelding. Shown in spring cart up to 1 ton. First prize <£2, second £1 10s.— W. Moynihap's entry, 1; E. M. Herrick's "Myra," 2; W. Johnson's "Robbie" >j. Three entries. Heavy Gelding or Mare, shown in dray up to 2 tons. First prize £2, second £2 10s.- Prouso Bros. £ 'Dolly" 1; Jas. Kenrick's "Lady Benmore" 2, Jas. Kenrick's "Lady Moore" 8. Three entries. * DRAUGHT HOUSES. Mare most suitable for Breediug Purposes. First prize £2, second £1 10s.- Prouse Bros. "Dolly" 1, Jas.
