The Autumn grass seed trade is now commencing, and we expect a brisk demand. Fruit Apricots, nectarines and peaches are higher, and the demand much better for good lines. Apples and pears are now more plentiful, and lower prices obtaining. Raspberries are daily enquired for. Plums are in fair demand for choice quality. Vegetables. Cabbage is coming to hand more freely, with lower rates. (jood lines of peas and beans are wanted. Swedes are selling well. tomatoes are higher in value, and larger shipments are recommended.
