Residents of this district will be pleased to hear oi the return appearance at the King's Theatre on Show night of the popular entertainer; Professor Norwood, hypnotist, and his talented assistant, Miss Winifred Norwood. Since their appearance here last December they have fulfilled exceptionally succpssful seasons, including' one of' nine nights at Greymouth (during Christmas and New Year) to record attendances. The Norwoods are doav at Gisborne for a four night's season. Those who saw Professor Norwood on his previous visit to Levin retain hearty recollections of the amusing nature of the entertainment presented by him. H was an exposition of an occult art which has defied scientist and medical faculty alike. Professor Norwood deals with hypnotism in its lighter vein, making it a vehicle for a mirthful entertainment. He combines the tremendous force whicli he 'so skilfully handles wim a strong, humorous touch, and the result is mystification and merriment. Miss Winifred Norwood will appear in new mental telepathic tests in which she is such a skilled medium. The box plan will be open at Ken Aitken's on Friday next. T3ie Company will appear at Gillandia Hall, Shannon, on Thursday, January 29.
