Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At \\ aikanae on Tuesday both sheep and cattle came forward well up to advertised numbers. Bidding at auction was somewhat dragging, but we managed to sell most lines before the day was out, and .altogether [ a very good sale resulted. Prices realised were as follows :— Sheep.- -Lambs (small) us, (is, and 8s Dd; 2-tooth wethers (small) 12s fid; fat ewes and wotiiers, 17 ; store ewes, lis 7d. Cattle.—Fat cows£7 to £7 7s Gd; 2 A-year steers, £5 ( Js (id; yearling and 15-month steers £2 15s; yearling and 15-month heifers, r.w.b., £2 18s; 18-month and 2-year heifers r.w.b., £4 Is to £4 ;jg; weaiier heifers £2 to £2 10s; mixed weaners 255, 30s, :t4s 8d; store cows £3, £3 ss; bulls £4 os and £5.
