Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their sale as follows: There was a good attendance of buyers, when large catalogues of all classes of • produce were offered. Competition was good for all lots at prices on a par with those ruling at last sale. W r e quote:—
• Wool.--Fine crossbred, 9£ to 10d, coarse crossbred 7£d to BM,pieces and bellies 5d to 6|d, locks and pieces 3kl to 5-] d, lambs Ofd, dead u'd to 7£d. Skins. — Halfbrcds (i£d to Slid, iino crossbred T.i'd to niedinm to coarse crossbred 7d to Bd, short to half wools to 7d, dead T)d to 6£' d, inferior 2d to sd, lambs 5i to 7j'd, damp crossbred to 7s Hd, pelts 2s to 2s lid; salted lambs 3s to 3s 6d. Hides. -Heavy ox Bgd to $$&, medium ox to B^d; light ox to B]d, heavy cows to B£d damaged o|d to 7-|d, bulls and stag bid to <jgd, yearlings 6gd to Ud, best calf 12£ d to 12|d, medium calf 9£d to 9fd, damaged Gd to 9d. Tallow.-—ln casks 10s to £21 10s; in tins 10s to 25s 3d. LONDON MAIiKETS. Dalgety and Company Limited, Wellington, have received from there London office under date of the Bth instant by cable as follows : — Frozen Meat.- Market firmer, but prices unchanged. Tallow.—Prime mutton Dd lower; good colour mixed beef 3d per cwt lower; no colour unchanged.
