.South Australia has lost seven wickets for 06 runs in the second iiuiiiiga. LEVIN v. FOXTOX. The Levin team met Foxton, at Foxton, on Saturday, and managed to win by the narrow margin of nine runs. Foxton batted Hrst and scored 52, Tullet, a new player in Foxton, being chief scorer with a well-made 21. His batting was very good. Stiles (12) also batted' well. Young and Better bowled for Levin, the ■Former coming out with the tine average of six wickets for 18 runs. Ketter took four wickets for Ki.
At the -opening of their innings Levin fared badly, losing the first three wickets for 10 runs. Better (24). Huntingdon (11) and McKenzie (11) however turned what looked like rertnin defeat into vieUtry. The finish of the game was elose and interesting. Considering that it was the first time - some of the Levin team plaved this season they did well, out their need of constant practice was very plain.
