Messrs Abraham and AVillianis Limited report At Levin on .Friday wo liad a very heavy yarding of slievp and cattle, stock coming torward wol 1 in excess of advertised numbers. The attendance was pooi' due uo doubt to the inclement weather and bidding suffered in consequence, being somewhat limited. Prices for fat stock wore well maintained, bill the demand for the quantity was not forthcoming. Prices realised were as follows: —1 at lambs, 15s Gd, l(is Id; fat shorn ewes, 17s, 17s : .sd, 18s l(Jd, IBs lid; fat wolly ewes, 15s lid: tat ewes and wethers (mixed) IDs Gd, 20s; woolly ewes and lambs, 20s 2d, 28s 4d: 2-tooth ewes, Lis Id, Lis 9d; 2-tooth wethers, 14s Gd, ,15s Id, 15s f'kl: forward wethers, 1 (is (id; fat rums, 17s; fat cows, £5 l.Gs., £5 18s, £(i 15s, £7 Lis, £S 19s: fat bulLocks, ,-£'B 18s, -£9 os; If) and LS-month steers, £•'! *»s, £3 lis; 2-year steers, £•'» Lis, £4 15s; cows and calves, £4 8s; yearling and 15-month empty heifers '£■!> 5s to £-°> 14s: 18-month heifers r.w.b., £4 12s.
