A cyclone at Winton wrecked many buildings, ind uliug White's store and the Methodisi minister's residence. The power house at Mt. Mo-g.m was destroyed by fire. All work will be practically stopped 'for ten days. The store premises of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at Eockliampton were completely gutted by fire. The stock destroyed was insured for £9000, winch about covers the loss.
