STOCK SALE BEPOIIT. Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report:—At our Levin sale 011 Friday, 21st November, we offered a fair yarding 1 of sheep and a heavy yarding" of cattel to the usual number of buyers. Tone of the market was good all round, and very satisfactory business was effected. Prices for almost all lines of cattle showed improvement on last sale rates, especially good young store cows, which were in keen demand. Sales effected were as under.Medium aged ewes with lambs, 18s 7d; small 2-tooth wtliers,- l'ss fid; priyie fat shorn ewes, l.Ss 4d to 18s sd; fat bullocks (light) to ,t\S Is: fat cows (light), £'5 Is to £5 l.()s: store cows, £-'! to £4 "?s: springing heifers, £4 to £5; cows and calves, £4 to £5 10s: 2 to 2',year steers, £4 10s to £5 Os Od; small 2-year steers, £-i 19s. A nice line of 50 2-year Polled Angus steers made £4 9s. Bulls (a large entry) sold from £3 to £7.
