At a large meeiing of the Taranaki branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association it was moved ihat the following resolutions recently submitted to the Public- Service Commissioners by delegates from the conference be amended to read ;is follows: "That (his conference of Post and Telegraph officers, after comparing ihe classification list for the Post and Telegraph officers, is of opinion that the importance of the duties performed by the officers of the Post and Telegraph Department has been under-estimated, and further requests That the Commissioners further revieV the position."
After hearing the representatives of the deputation of dele'gaies. it was further resolved: "Thai this branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association has the fullest confidence in the delegates sent to the late conference, and is in entire sympathy with the resolutions passed by ihni body."
