Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Levin on Friday all classes of stock met with keen competition, and a good yarding changed hands at the following quotations:— Sheep. ewes, 22s Gd to 27s Id; ewes and lambs, 21s Gd to 27s Gd; forward ewes, 19s 8d; hoggets, IGs Id to 17s Id; 2-tooth wethers, 18s lOd to 14s (id; fat ewes (shorn), 17s Id to 18s Dd. Cattle.—Three-year steers, £G 18s; 2-year steers, £4 to £4 15s .(id; 15-month steers, £2 19s; yearling steers, £2 10s; 15- to 18montli half-bred Holstein heifers, £8 14s 6d; 18-month half-bred Jersey heifers, £4 2s (id: weaner heifers, 80s to 80s; fat cows, £5 8s to £6 Gs; store cows, £2 10s to £8 8s: springing cows, £5 to £7; cows in milk, £5 to £10; bulls, £8 to £6 18s.
