Japanese Bazaar.
♦ A LEVIN EVENT. The bazaar organised in aid of the two building funds of the Church of England will be opened in the Century Hall, Levin, this afternoon. ' Most complete arrangements have been made for the bazaar, and if the meed of success reaches the degree that such completeness deserves a notable success indeed will result. The bazaar will continue for two days, both afternoon and evening. The stalls are all of Oriental aspect, and the whole of the hall has been arranged so as to represent a Japanese village. Following is the complete list of stallholders;— Sweet stall.—Mesdames Matthews and Collier. Plain work stall.-—Miss Bowles, Mrs Gardener, Mrs Gapper and Mrs Sharmau. G.F.S. stall.—Mesdames Duckworth and Stealey, Misses Malcolm, H. Pink, L. Hooper, M. Wclby and F. Watson. Jumble stall.—Mesdames Pyke, I'hillips, Nicholson. Clark and Perkins. China stall. Mesdames Mackenzie and Howell, Misses Davies. G.F.S. Candidates' stall and Fairy Well. Mesdames Holdawav and- Remington, Misses M. Malcolm, N.'Snell and Ryder (2). Produce and Flower stall.— Mesdames Wallace, Lodge, Richler. and Miss Hifcliings. Fancy stall. Mesdames T. Brown, Signall, Marriott, Butt, and Miss Rotter. Tea Room—Mesdames Cutfield, Hansen, Smithson, Dotson, Bolton, Misses Ambler, Butt, Bignall, Hansen, Fox, Moore and Watson. Musical Committee.- -Mesdames Matthews, Cutfield, Wallace; Mr Smith. The fairy scene and dance will be given twice each evening; also on Thursday afternoon. ——■——■———
