Levin Stock Sales
At the sale-yards yesterday an average number of stock, both sheep and cattle, was yarded. Bidding was extremely slow, the warm, brilliant sunshine apparently having' a soporific effect on the. buyers. Though the stiles dragged, anything any good brought good prices. In the cattle section a line of bullocks brought i!lO 14s: sausage bulls and such like brought the usual 30s k> £2. A line of fat ewes reached the high price of 28s sd.
