ANOTHER WIN EOR Y.M.C.A
The boys of Levin District High School Cricket Club met the Levin Y.M.C.A. cricket team yesterday, on the Levin recreation ground. by 02 runs, after an enjoyable game. The schoolboys batted first and were all out for ;) >2, A. Pringle, Keys, Moore and Broughton securing the wickets. Barham batted well for a dozen, and Mills steadily for 7, while that consistent scorer Byes added a half-dozen. The mainstay in Y.M.C.A.'s innings was TV .A. Pringle. He hit " 'al'd, 'igh and hofl'en," till finally he saw a skyscraper fall into the safe hands of Mclntyre, his score then being 48. No other batsman reached double figures.
