A stroll" - side wind militated against fast time over several of the ten-mile section, but despite that fact the ten section were negotiated in the g'ood time of ■Ihrs. 1 l-f>secs. The individual riders and times were as lollows:-—A. "Wann, 28min -lOsec: H. Gray, Wren '-v'iSniins otisee: C. Lyons, oSmins ! Msec; W. Abbott. '-iTmin OTsee; U. Cadwallader, 27min -'Msec; W. I'. 1 loach, '.27 mm -Msec: A. Mc( ire,i>'or, 2J)miii iMsec: Worth 'JNmin Nsec: 2<S min 4U -l-isec. All told, only ei.U'ht seconds were lost in cliiinf>*in.t*' over the ile.spatch. The Perth team all won medallions, owin.u' to bet<wring' the time limit of five hours H'l by the J)iinlop Itubber Company for the "century." This is the second fastest time \vt established in connection with this relay despatch contest.
