A tragedy lias occurred at North. Dandalup. Mrs Molyneaux, during . the absence oi her husband, was paid attentions by a man named Odgers. Subsequently Molyneaux removed to another district, and Odgers, learning of his whcreabouts, borrowed a rifle and ammunition, visited Molyncaux's house, and demanded io sec his wife. The husband warned her to escape, and then (after a struggle with Odgers for the rifle) himself fled, with two children. Odgers fired two shots at them, harmlessly. After wards several more shots w;u>-, heard. Molyneaux and a .neighbour returned lo Ihe house ;md found Mrs Molyneaux shol dead. Odgers had disappeared. lie was discovered a mile from (lie scene of Ihe (rageily, shol through the moulh and with his jaw fractured, but li : « condition was not serious.
