The Crown has entered a nolle prosequi in the charge again*! Daniel Jones of murdering William Mullins. The circumstances connecting Tones with the murlcr are mere suspicions, and the. Chief Justice has ruled them not enough to commit Jones upon. The .only connecting link of Jones with the crime was certain hor e shoe prints in the vieinily of ihe fire, which were said to resemble the shoe of a .horse owned ov Jones, and a boot worn bv Jones.
