Stock Food Formula
A man who knows says that the following formula will make a medicated stock food that is as good as any on the market, and one-fourth or one-fifth the expense of the commercial brands: ----- 100 pounds old process linseed meal. 5 pounds common salt. 5 pounds powdered charcoal. 5 pounds Epsom salts. 4 pounds saltpetre 3 pounds Gentian. 2 pounds Feneugreek A small handful two or three times a day will do no harm, and may do good if the animals ar>) out of condition.—Rural Life.
