We are receiving consignments of Derwents of excellent quality, winch, realise a quick sale. Seed potatoes are still going out iu fair quantities, and good quality lines are readily available. Local onions arriving are mostly inferior, and Japanese are now holding the market. Dead pigs continue very scarce. Eggs are selling freely. Wheat is 'firmer, and a further rise has occurred. Oats are stationary, except good lines of dressed ,'vigerians for seed, which are scarce, and present values likely jo advance. .Fruit.--Very few New Zealand apples are now coming in. A large supply of rhubarb is coming in from the Hull, and realising j fair rates. ,
Vegetables First quality cabbage and ca u1 if lower realise high figures, but. inferior are dull. Swedes are firmer, also .parsnips and carrots.

Messrs Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report as follows : We ofl'ered a large catalogue of all classes of produce, to the usual attendance of buyers. Bidding was keen for everything offered prices being firm for wool and skins. Ox hides were also firm but cows were, slightly easier than hist sale. Tallow ruled firm.

outs, as tlie stocks 011 hand are larger there than in northern centres owing to the late harvest. Southland ruined the early trade with Australia, but mat now receive some benefit from its renewal. The potato market remains without change. It is reported that one largo grower has sold his crop in the pit for feed purposes at several shillings pe rton below the rate for picked samples. Blitter has been reduced a penny per lb all round.
