— The oldest- friendly society in Levin is once again celebrating its anniversary. Tins year the, social gathering takes place at the Kind's Theatre, on October -ird. The Foresters have formed a strong working committee, which will spare no pain's to make the affair a success. The floor lias been thoroughly renovated, and intending patrons can rely on "having a good time. The catering is in the capable hands of Mr F. 0. Smith, and a full orchestra has been engaged for the occasion. Moving pictures will be shown at internals.
