♦ EVENTS IN SHANNON. (Chronicled by our Resident Representative). At the meeting of the Hope v Shannon lodge 1.0. G.T., held.on Monday evening the following resolution was carried unanimously by all the members standing "That this lodge place on record it appreciation of the many services rendered to the cause of temperance by the late Mrs Barclay, and to express sympathy with Mr Barclay in his bereavement: that this resolution be entered on the minutes and a copy sent to Mr Barclay." After the business had been disposed of the lodge adjourned without going into harmony out of respect to the memory of I'm. late Mrs Barclay.
