There is no improvement to report in the state oi: the potato market; a large quantity is passing through our hands, but prices show no signs of improveinent. (jood seed potatoes are offering freely at low rates, and growers may on tins account extent their areas in this Island. Onions are dull of sale, owing , to over-impor-tations. The supply of dead pigs is much below the demand, but we expect more plentiful shipments in a week or two. Eu'.as are steady, with fair supply. Wlieat is firmer, but other grains arc unchanged. Fruit.-- Any shipments of apples and pears arriviu.u , realise splendid prices. Rhubarb is now fomino , in in large..tjuautities from the llutt.
