[rER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] THIiTSTRANDED LINER, • Wellington, This Day. The lighthouse-keeper at Pencarrow states that he lias just returned from the beach. He thinks the ship will . become a total wreck, as half the bottom is being knocked to pieces. A line has been got ashore, and those on board will be able to land without trouble. The vessel is almost within speaking dislanee of the shore; in fact, it would be possblc to converse with those on board but for the noise of the sea. _ About twenty people are at the site of the wreck, including the harbour-master and stall' and three policemen. Tho sea is much too rough for anv boat to live in.
