A sale of farm property has been effected at Buckley, Shannon, Mr J). I. Tucker having disposed of his farm to Mr C. W. Pederson, of Longburn. The change takes effect from Ist September. Mr Tucker meditates settling in the I'Yilding district. 'When Denis C'onlon was found not guilty at Sligo Sessions of having stolen a coat and waistcoat, lit; returned the clothing on the request of the .judge. The "hard-up''" social held at Ohau on Thursday night was well attended, and proved profitable for the funds of (he institute. A number of Levin dancers attended the gathering.
