A meeting was held in the small room of the Druids' Hall on Thursday night, of those interested in the Good Templar Order. Bro. Cameron, who has been recently appointed .organiser for the Good Templars, gave a short address 011 the principles and objects of the order. lie explained that he had been appointed with a view to assist flic weaker lodges, and resuscitate those which had lapsed. He referred to the advantages to storekeepers by the carrying of prohibition: large sums owing having been paid in one instance, money which the storekeeper had no hopes of getting before the carrying of 'prohibition. lie advocated the (rood Templars' Order as being the best organisation for carrying out the principles of total abstinence. If was resolved, 011 the motion of the Hew J. ('. Crawford, to have another meeting in a forfnight, when the Good Templars' Lodge will bo re-opened.
