A. Feihling motorist , Adrian I'oiler, who was just arriving in Napier (says a local paper) fell into the hands of the authorities, right away. He was driving his car along the Parade whilst, ii is alleged, under the influence of liquor, and was arrested by Constable Pelt it. The man was steering the car all over the road on Ihe way <o the police station, so the guardian of the law took charge of the wheel, and although never having handled a car before, look it down to the shit ion, where the loudly protesting motorist was locked up. He was subsequently bailed out.
