The potato market is much the same as last week, there - being- a fair demand, with supplies freely coming forward, and .prices remaining unchanged except for a slight weakening tendency. There is still good demand for seed lines and prices are unchanged at last week's rates. Poultry is still iu excellent demand, turkeys especially being eagerly sought after. Pork is scarce with a splendid demand at most satisfactory prices. Larger supplies of both these lines could be assimilated at very payable prices. Eggs show a change from last week, and prices are now somewhat lower. Grain remains practically unchanged. Chaff :s slow of sale, supplies being well maintained at same prices as have been ruling for the last few weeks. FRUIT.- Apples are scarce) and meet a ready sale, there being very little fruit of any kind coining to the market. VEGETABLES. - Parsnips are in good demand, and high prices are being realised for choice lines. All other vegetables meet a very fair demand.
