Germs at 3s 6d a Bottle
The 'Vienna Press lately pointed out how easy it is to obtain deadly germs, and how cheaply they can be bought. Investigations have been made by the police in connection with the case of a man named ilopf under arrest at I 1 ranki'ort-on-Alain, who was alleged to have murdered his first and second wives by means of disease germs it appears that hot lies of deadly "cultures" cost only '•}* b'd each, (,'holera bacilli, enough, with careful manipulation, to spread the disease throughout a city, may be had for this price. Influenza aud tuberculosis bacilli cost 4s 2d a bottle. The Krai Museum in Vienna, where these bacilli are bred, has made a new rule that applicants 111 future must furnish particulars of their identity on sending for live bacilli. "Dead ones" will be forwarded as usual.
