In the Legislative Assembly, the Hon. Mr liolman, .Premier, made a spirited reply to Mr Wade (Leader of the Opposition) in defence of the Government and its policy. The censure debate now stands adjourned until Tucsdav.
The Hon. Mr ILolman's motion for expunging ex-Speak-er Willis's document from the records of the llouse will be taken on Wednesday.

Brisbane, This Day. A case of smallpox has occurred in the Ipswich district. The Government has ordered I lie prisoners in all g-vols to be vaccinated.
Strict precautions are being enforced <>n passengers arriving by trains from New South Wales.
Melbourne, This Day
The House of Assembly has adjourned until Tuesday. Mr McLeod's motion of censure is the outcome of a split in the
Liberal Party regarding rottain points of policy. The Hon. Mr Watt refuses to compromise. Mr XlcLeod anticipates that by the combined forces of the' Country and Labour parlies they will defeat the Government. The Hon. Mr Watt, on the other hand, expects that the Country Partywill not vote solid and that he will secure a small niajoritv.
