(Ueeeived 9.10 a.m.) The New South Wales Cabinet has decided to introduce a Compulsory Vaccination 13111 (as a matter" of urgency) when Parliaments meets at the end of July. A number of persons have been discharged from quarantine as recovered —including 15 yesterday. MELBOUHXE, This Day. None of the contacts aboard the Karoola (so far as discovered) have developed smallpox. The hunt for the nther_ passengers continues; about sixty are missing. • Owing- to the decrease in passenger traffic, the Union S.ft. Company withdraws the Willochra which on arrival at Sydney on Tuesday will be laid up; consequently there will be no steamer from Sydney to Wellington to-morrow Aveek. Passengers who booked bv the Willochra (for July 2(ith) wiU be carried on the Maheno or Niagara to Auckland, whence the Company pays their fare by rail to or steamer to Wellington. A cablegram reports that the New Zealand Health authorities reserve the right to re-vaccinate pasengers from Sydney. ———i—— a
