John -William Willis, of Ohatigaiti, aged 20, while out shooting pheasants with his father and a com- . panion named ileise on Sunday morning, at Kakahi, met with a fatal accident. The dogs were frisking about, and lleise brought the muzzle of hi.s gun round to ward them off. when the gun went off, killing Willis instantly. A verdict was returned to-day of accidental death.
